So, my new years resolution was to create a fashion blog. Its now the 5th Februrary 2012 and I have finally got round to doing one! As you can see from my pictures (and most likely Twitter, Facebook and the news) its been snowing in the UK! Personally, I hate snow. The reason being that I own a car and have to use it most days and driving in snow is literally the scariest thing, EVER. But being out in the snow taking pictures today has actually been quite nice!
Seeing as this is my first blog post, let me tell you a bit about me..
- I'm 19.
- I tend to change my hair, alot.
- Im in my last year of college studying on a BTEC National Extended Diploma in Business.
- I am hoping to go to university in September 2012.
- I have applied for two courses at LCF, two courses at Westminster and a course at MMU.
- I work in fashion retail.
- I aspire to be a fashion merchandiser.
- I model part time.
On to my outfit....
I've been in London for 3 days this week and picked up this bowler hat in a concession called Monki in Selfridges. I've never heard of them before but their shoes and accessories are pretty neat and I picked the hat up for a bargin £15.
The skirt from Miss Selfridge is amazing and has a glam grunge feel to it; ive dressed it up quite basic today but I think I need to get myself a leather bustier to go with this it to give it an edgier feel! This was also another steal at £8.
Now, the sunglasses. Brace yourself, these were 50p. No word of a lie. I picked them up a couple of weeks ago from the Primark in Hull and couldnt believe there were still so many left on the stand! I love them and have been wearing them so much recently, they just seem to go with everything!
I have had this blazer a while, and decided to customize it with some gold buttons that I picked up at Boyes just to make it my own.
I now really need to get on with some assignment work but I hope you like my first post!
P.s - Forgive the quality of some of the pictures, I'm still getting up to speed with the camera and focus settings! :)
